Feeling anxious about job interviews?
It is common for people to feel anxious about job interviews. As I say to my students, anxiety comes from the fact you care about something.
But one way to alleviate some of that pressure, is to practice.
So here are some helpful tips for job interviews:
Tip #1 Find out more about the company for your job interview
Take a look at the website, reviews, and any mission statements connected to the business. When a candidate (you) applies for a job, and interested person is an asset to the team.
Tip #2 Practice answering typical questions your job interview
Many companies just want to know they can rely on you to do the job at hand, so with that in mind, here are a few questions that align with this way of thinking:
Why do you want this position?
What are you like under pressure?
What strengths can you bring to the position?
If you could describe yourself in one word, what would it be and why?
When was a moment where you had to face a challenge and how did you remedy it?
Tip #3 Practice getting to the point when you answer your questions your job interview
It is one thing to answer questions well, it is another to ramble, and ramble, and ramble. So practice timing yourself and answer each question in under 30 seconds.
Best of luck with your job interview. Make sure you have a professional CV and Cover Letter developed from Tovah's Tutoring Company Ltd, as it will showcase your skills.
